Summer Limeade
SaveSweetened condensed milk, whole lime quarters, cold water, and ice, blended and strained. Pour it over ice and drink it right away.

Allergen tags are cooking labels. They are not medical advice.
Ingredients
- 1 can (14 oz / 397 g) Sweetened condensed milk
- 3 Juicy limes, quartered
- 2 cups / 480 ml Cold water
- 2 cups, plus more for serving Ice
Method
- Put the condensed milk, quartered limes, cold water, and 2 cups of ice in a blender. Blend until the drink is smooth and pale green and the rinds are finely broken up.
- Strain through a fine-mesh strainer, pressing on the solids. Discard the rind and seeds.
- Pour over fresh ice and serve immediately. It is best the minute it is poured; the lime rind turns bitter if the drink sits.
Nutrition
Kitchen estimate only, not lab-verified. A sweet blended drink. Condensed milk supplies the sugar, the fat, and the dairy. No salt is added.
Guest diet / allergy swaps
Short kitchen notes for guests. A fuller gluten-free or dairy-free ingredient list, when we have one, is in the panels below.
Dairy-free style
Use one 14 oz can of coconut sweetened condensed milk in place of the dairy can. Read that label. Some packages group coconut with tree nuts. The swap changes the dairy in the glass. It is a kitchen note, not medical advice.
- United States: One 14 oz can of coconut sweetened condensed milk replaces the dairy can. Read the tree-nut line.
- United Kingdom: Use a coconut condensed milk marked dairy free, and check whether the label groups coconut with nuts.
Gluten-free style
As written, the drink has no wheat. Limes, water, ice, and sweetened condensed milk are the whole list. Check the can you buy.
- United States: The drink list is limes, water, ice, and condensed milk. The can is the label to read.
- United Kingdom: Nothing in the blender is wheat. Still read the condensed-milk ingredients.
Low-sodium friendly
No salt is added. Sweetened condensed milk still has a little sodium of its own. This note is about the ingredient list, not a low-sodium diet.
